Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Jodhpur to Jaisalmer

Arrival in Jodhpur, drive through the desert and proceed for Jaisalmer. The golden city of Jaisalmer is known for its carved havelis, the magnificent fort and golden sand dunes. In Evening, visit the local shopping markets in Jaisalmer.

Day 2: Jaisalmer Sightseeing

Your whole day tour includes a visit to Jaisalmer Fort, Patwon ki Haveli, Gadsisar Sagar Lake, Tazia Tower in the day time. In Evening, enjoy a camel ride in Sam/Khuri along with a traditional Rajasthani dinner. You will get a chance to see the local dancers performing on golden sand dunes of Jaisalmer.

Day 3: Tanot Mata & Longewala Border

Early morning excursion to Tanot Mata Temple (120 km from Jaisalmer), a sacred temple known for miracles during the 1971 war. Continue to Longewala Border, the historic site of the famous 1971 Indo-Pak battle. Visit the war memorial and see the captured Pakistani tanks and vehicles. Return to Jaisalmer by evening.

Day 4: Jaisalmer to Jodhpur

Arrival in Jodhpur city by the afternoon. The Blue city as it is popularly known is built around the magnificent Mehrangarh fort which was built in 17th century. Rest of the day is spent exploring the golden fort in Jodhpur.

Day 5: Jodhpur Sightseeing & Departure

Visit all local tourist attractions in Jodhpur. The day includes a visit to local sightseeing of the old city and shopping areas in Jodhpur. You can shop for handicrafts, textiles and go for lip smacking Rajasthani cuisines. Departure in the evening.
